31 Mar Plim Plim, a Hero from the Heart Launches Its Own TV Channel
The hit with millions of monthly views on YouTube is coming to TV to continue supporting families in teaching positive values and habits.
The dream of reaching many more children across Latin America inspired the creation of this new Spanish-language cable TV channel, designed for children between the ages of 1 and 5. Its programming will include:
– Episodes of Plim Plim the Clown.
– Music videos for families to sing and dance along to.
– Educational content.
– Plim Plim Baby, featuring instrumental music specially developed for babies.
“This new Plim Plim channel was created following extensive research conducted with a team of professionals specializing in education. We developed this initiative based on early childhood education principles. Our goal is to remain focused, together with families, on delivering meaningful messages to children,” said Guillermo Pino, creator of Plim Plim and President of Smilehood.
This franchise, created by Smilehood in 2011, was broadcast by Disney Junior LATAM and Discovery in more than 50 countries. Today, through YouTube, it continues to reach millions of households around the world every day. Its successful live show has toured extensively throughout Latin America, filling theaters in Mexico, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, among others. “We hope the channel will serve as a bridge that allows us to continue connecting with the hearts of children throughout Latin America,” concluded Guillermo Pino.
The exclusive Spanish-language content will begin airing in May 2023.
