30 May Bandai launches a new Plim Plim toy line
Bandai will develop and launch a complete line of Plim Plim toys in Mexico and Spain in 2025.
January 21, 2025. December 2024 marked an iconic milestone for the Plim Plim children’s brand: it made a significant leap by partnering with Bandai to bring a wide range of toys to the Mexican and Spanish markets as the first territories. This licensing agreement, combining entertainment and education, aims to expand the children’s experience beyond screens, integrating learning and play in the real world.
The new product line, which will be available in mid-2025, will include categories such as plush toys, vehicles, figurines, bath toys, educational games, and much more.
To prepare for the launch, a comprehensive marketing strategy has been designed, including TV and social media advertising campaigns, in-store promotions, and participation in key events and trade fairs in the sector. This ambitious initiative reflects the brand’s commitment to offering innovative and enriching experiences for young children.
With 12.8 billion views and a 32% growth compared to the previous year, 2024 was an extraordinary year for Plim Plim. In addition, the channel added 8 million new subscribers, reaching a total of 35.6 million, making it the 7th largest preschool channel in the world and positioning it at #32 on the global YouTube channel ranking out of a total of 45.3 million, according to data from Tubular.

In addition to the toys, Penguin Random House is expanding the Plim Plim universe with a publishing line that launched over 8 titles in 2024 and plans to release 6 more titles in 2025 across Latin America.
The recent agreement signed with La Panadería Licensing, a leading agency in the Mexican market, plays a crucial role in diversifying the business and growing the brand. It is exploring new categories such as Party, Fashion, and Personal Care. Through La Panadería, the licensing agent network for all of Latin America is now complete, and Plim Plim aims to become a reference brand among children, families, and their communities.
